Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.
-- Fyodor Dostoevsky
Change is rarely comfortable, even when we know it is the best thing to do. It's often easier to just stay in a situation and maintain the status quo than it is to make a major change in our lives. I see this all the time in my business. Selling a home and buying a new one can be daunting.
I recently made a major change in my career when I joined Dale Sorensen Real Estate. I had built a good brand at my previous broker and had a great team that had been together for two years. I could have just done the easy thing and stay where I was. I knew, however, that the best thing for me at this point was to step out of my comfort zone and run my own business. I had the support of my family and friends and help from some respected professionals in the field. They gave me confidence that I was making the right decision. They also helped make the transition as simple as possible for me.
So, when my clients are going through the often stressful process of changing homes, I know how they feel. I feel the best thing I can do for them is to make the experience as seamless as possible. I need to worry about all the details for so they can focus on the things that are important to them. A new home is a huge change and so is selling one. A home is one of the biggest assets you will ever invest in and it can be stressful thinking about all of the many moving parts. It can often feel like you are delving into the unknown. My job, as their Realtor, is not just to find the home and complete the transaction, but also to foresee possible issues and prevent them. Or quickly handle any problems that may arise. I should make their real estate experience as seamless as possible, just like my friends and family did for me when I started this new chapter of my career. If you or anyone you know needs a Realtor who will make your biggest investment their main priority and your big life change not so scary, you will be happy to know that I am just a phone call away. 786-525-9773 or Jett@JettValienteTeam.com
